Meet the Innkeepers and Concierge

Louis and Geneva Hunt, residents of Williamsburg since 1960, look forward
to welcoming you to the Country Cottage-A Williamsburg Bed and Breakfast.

Both Innkeepers have contributed to the Cottage’s design and comfort.  
Louis’ talent in fine woodworking is evident in the details of the exterior and
interior of the Cottage.  The building’s design reflects the symmetrical lines of
structures found in the Colonial Capitol of Williamsburg.  Interior details
include a heart pine antique mantle, two-piece chair rail and crown moldings,
six panel doors, custom cornices and a collection of antiques and vintage
pieces collected over the years.   

Raising four children, Geneva is very comfortable having ‘guests’ in the house-
kids over for the day playing to college friends home for the weekend looking
for help with the laundry.  Making all feel welcome in her home is only second
nature to Geneva.  And, with everyone on his or her own schedule, her
Breakfast-at-Leisure Basket makes the start of the day perfectly fitting….
ready when you are!

The Country Cottage is probably the only bed and breakfast in Williamsburg
with its own Concierge who has been a member of Les Clefs d’Or, USA.    As
Concierge, the Innkeepers’ son, Robert has been assisting guests for more
than 20 years and lends you his expertise as guests at the Cottage.  In
addition to assisting guests in Williamsburg, Robert has delighted his guests
in great cities like Washington, DC, New York, Chicago and West Hollywood.
